As is tradition, the NSO showcases the winner of the Paul Vermel Young Artist Award. We are delighted to present violist Ursula Steele as she joins us for her performance of the Andante and Rondo Ungarese by C.M.von Weber.

Copland’s Outdoor Overture sets the high-energy tone and Edward Doemland’s Scherzo for Percussion and Orchestra adds a dash of sparkle and humor. The delight continues with Dances with Wolves and Sibelius’ tuneful Karelia Suite.
